Jim… this is your old East Baltimore neighborhood friend, former slick Shortstop of the Saint Wenceslaus Little League Indians team, and your later in life former Driver coworker at the Ashley Addiction Treatment Center!  This Brotha from another Motha is missing you BIG Time!  I only have an older sister Joanne, but you have been for me the brother I never had!
And I’ll tell you once again… if it wasn’t for my slick fielding Shortstop play, your pitching E.R.A. would had been much higher! 
Soo glad we reunited in our senior years as coworkers at Ashley.  When you joined our band of brother drivers, our group became even funnier!
Soo give you Dad, Jim Sr, all my best and thank him for teaching me the basics of baseball as our Indians Manager, and for being influential in my love for the game of baseball!
Miss you badly… Peace out my Brotha… and as you would always say….”Yeah Baby!”

Jimmy was a fun happy guy, always kidding or joking around. God is waiting for him &  he will be in good hands. Everyone loved Jimmy, he will be missed.  Sending my condolences to all the family. Prayers be with all.

Hey bro, I miss my big brother already. Having you as a big brother made my life so much easier. As a kid no one would mess with me because they knew, “that’s Sherms little brother don’t mess with him, or you will have to answer to Jim”. With that rough exterior and firm handshake, you came off as quite intimidating. But we all know that you had a kind and loving heart, always ready to make us laugh. You were always ready and willing to lend a hand to help me with whatever it was that I had going on.
I admired you as you stayed strong near the end trying to beat that nasty disease, and you still maintained that firm handshake.  I somehow found my love for you grew even stronger. I am going to miss you very much and I’m not quite sure how I’ll get through it, but hey, we’ll figure it out.


My condolences and my prayers and love sent to him and family. I so glad I was up in b lair for putting at Sandy’s and John’s home to meet Jim and made me laugh couldn’t meet a stranger. Came up from sc to visit and was there at Sandy’s and John  was a wonderful memory and mama as happy to meet Jim and my prayers to John and sandy and family. Best man h didn’t know me but didn’t treat me as a stranger was making me laugh and grilling out yes I never forget so Rest In Peace JIM YOU GONE HOME BUT YOU WILL BE RIGHT THERE ALWAYS LOOKING DOWN AND WATCHING OVER FAMILY. I practically owe my work carrier to this man. Back in 1999 most of the Radecke softball team was helping to dig a drainage ditch in my Uncle Kevin’s back yard. For him to go to the Richmond softball tourney the ditch needed to be done. Hence the ball team digging said ditch. During one of the breaks my Uncle Jarrett offered me a job as a helper for $9 an hour at the company he worked at. Instantly Little Jimmy got in on me, “Man if I was you I would be all over that offer. At your age getting paid $9 an hour with a chance to get into a great job in a trade and chance to move up over time. Man you need to get in on that boy!” This went on for about 20 minutes lol. I decided, after his light persuasion, to take my uncle up on the offer. Now 24 years later, I am still at ACC Telecom, Lead Tech, Service Manager and the go to guy at the company. Without that conversation with Little Jimmy I may not have decided to take that job. He did not need to bother himself with my situation but he did and I am forever grateful of that. Love and miss ya Little Jimmy.

My wife took this picture when Jimmy and Mars came to South Carolina to visit us a few years ago .We were all going out for awhile and they were taking forever to get ready , I’m like hey you guys wanna go lol , little did we know they had ordered A few Dozen Steamed Crabs from the Eastern Shore to be delivered that morning to surprise us cause we were missing  them , they finally said we are sorry for taking so long but we are stalling and explained why , we were so excited and we all left and saw a Fed Ex truck go by saying i bet thats them , when we got back they were there and Jimmy steamed them enough to get them hot again and crab cakes too , I didn’t have a brother by blood but Jimmy was my brother and best friend oh i will miss him dearly . Orioles game and Ravens game we text stuff like love that player or why did we sign that bum , Hey my Brother Rest In Peace Go Orioles, Go Ravens and Shine me a light from above. Sandy and I love you and we are missing you but we have so many memories, I tell her all our shenanigans and we laugh like hiding your books in the bushes on Waycross when we played hooky and Big Jim finding them lol not good lol 😆 i just can’t believe you’re gone 

Jim was a great fun guy. He made everyone laugh, he loved to joke around  when everyone be at John & Sandy's  house for outings. Great times knowing Jim. 
He will be missed & in our thoughts. Prayers be with his wife , families & brothers & families & friends. Rest In Peace Jim. 

So sorry for your loss.  Jimmy will surely be missed. More than a cousin but a great friend as well. Rest In Peace Jimmy. GOD has a better plan for you. 

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Scheuerman family.  I am so sorry for the loss of Jimmy.  He was one of a kind.  Always full of laughter.  I will miss him so much.  Love you all
