I will always remember Uncle George as such a good and kind man.  He was easy going and had a very calming way about him.  He was loved and respected by many and will be very missed, but never forgotten. 
Rest in peace Uncle George.

My Uncle George was the first real man of God I was privileged to know. He was kind, quiet  and funny. My Uncle George and Aunt Becky will always hold a special place in my heart. They were there for me in my childhood and they were the first people to take me to church, VBS and Sunday school. I will miss him very much and he will remain always in thoughts.

I’ve thought a lot about what to say about my dad, starting with the memories that stand out. He was a brilliant man, able to teach himself almost anything—from building a house to taking professional photographs. He seemed capable of accomplishing anything he set his mind to. He also had great faith in God. Even in his later years, as his memory faded, he continued to sing hymns and say prayers, embodying his unwavering beliefs.
Some of my earliest memories are of him as a deacon in the church. I remember hiding behind his legs when people tried to talk to me; all I wanted was to stay hidden behind my dad. He took me to the church office and taught me how to count the offering money, allowing me to gather coins and roll them up. He gave me my first accounting job.
As time went on, he turned us kids into construction workers while building his house. I vividly recall climbing the scaffolding fearlessly, with him encouraging my bravery. It’s amazing to reflect on what he accomplished on his own, with just a bit of help from us.
He kept us busy with manual labor—those leaf days were especially memorable. He loved blowing the leaves, while we didn’t enjoy it as much. It became an annual tradition for many years.
As we had children, we got to see our dad become a grandfather. I always thought how lucky my son was; my dad was a hard worker, and my time with him grew limited as I got older. However, Brayden enjoyed a special bond with him—a retired grandfather who was always there for him. Their relationship brought me joy.
In his final weeks, I was fortunate to share meaningful moments with him. Last Monday, his room was filled with family, just as he would have wanted. He knew we were there, surrounded by love until his last breaths. 
I’ll miss you more than you know, Dad. Enjoy the rewards you’ve earned all these years.

In my head it’s like a movie camera playing from when we courted, when we got married and all through our marriage. Wonderful pleasant memories swimming through my head, so many that it would take a book to take it all down. He was the most generous, thoughtful, most calm, sweetest guy a woman would ever want as a husband. For the first 20 years of our marriage we were like honeymooners, and many happy years after that. He truly is my endless love.
