Gary Edward Bentley Sr.

Gary Edward Bentley Sr., age 83, of Towson, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Doris Marie Bentley; devoted father of Tammy and Cliff Konstans of Delta, Pa., Gary Bentley, Jr of Abingdon, MD., John Bentley of Oakland, MD., Phyllis and Guy Sapone of Galax, VA., Pastor Jimmy and Trina Bentley of Deer Park, MD., Gina Bentley of Seattle, WA., Jerry and Angie Bentley of Dallastown, PA.; dear brother of Rev. Jim and Bernice Bentley of Delta, Pa., Dot Parks of Rising Sun, MD; loving grandfather of 29 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; also survived by his stepchildren, Kim Clayton, Stacy Metz, Sharon Morton, many nieces, nephews and church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. John and Della Bentley, son, Jackie Neal Bentley, wife Evelyn Lois Bentley, and some siblings.

Gary was the oldest of 12 siblings. He helped his parents however he could, due to his father's illness. He was a lay minister with The Church of God of Prophecy. Gary loved his family and church family. He was a people's person and loved to help and talk to people. No one was a stranger after he talked to them. He shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Gary loved construction work with his brothers and family.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
