Steven Douglas Butler Sr.

Steven Douglas Butler, Sr., 73, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2023. He was born on July 3, 1949 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Duge and Marion Butler. Steven proudly served in the United States Navy. He was an avid golfer who often won tournaments and was a member of Wolf Run. Steven enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and he loved them all so very much. He was a food broker for many years and also owned his own taxi service in which he focused on patient medical appointments. Steven was a sports fanatic and a news junkie. He was extremely generous with a passion for helping those in need. Steven will be forever missed by many. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Becky Merrell. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Butler; son, Steven Butler, Jr.; brother, Mark (Marylea) Butler; sister, Cindy DeSoteo; step sons, Scott (Karen) Kincaid and Kevin (Sumi) Kincaid; step daughter, Kristen (David) Boyce; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM followed by the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home – Beech Grove, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove, IN 46107.
