Robert Price Ford

Robert Price Ford, 86, of Franklin, entered into eternal rest on September 3, 2023. He was born on November 24, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Herbert and Anna Ford. Robert proudly served in the United States Navy for four years. He retired from the Beech Grove Fire Department in 1979 after serving the community for twenty years. Robert loved to spend time outdoors where you could often find him hunting or walking through a flea market. He was an avid collector of antiques and enjoyed finding the perfect items at the auctions. Spending time with his family and friends meant the world to him. He would often play cards, dice, and board games. Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Ford. He is survived by his children, Cheryl (Russ) Whitney, Tim (Mandy) Ford, and Annie Staley; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; along with 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home – Beech Grove, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove, IN 46107. Burial will be held in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Survive Alive Program, 748 Massachusetts Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46204.
