Alice Ruth Merrick

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Merrick; son, Scott Brian Merrick; sisters, Pauline Ethell, Aline Bausback, Della Wetzel, Ruby Conrad, Mildred Wallace, Aris Noggle, and Connie Cecil; and her brothers, Robert Cecil, Ray Cecil, and James Cecil.

She is survived by her sister, Cleo Ann Shadley; brother, Larry (Sue) Cecil; niece, Janet Bausback Griffey; and her companion, Ted Landwerlan.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers Cheryl Reynolds and Laura Cassell along with Brighton Hospice and Right At Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM with a Rosary at 5:30 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home- Beech Grove, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove, IN 46107. There will be additional visitation on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Stroke Association.
