Shirley Webb

Born June 16, 1938, in Southwold Suffolk England. She was the daughter of Frank and Vera Goodwin.

The early years of her life she lived in Southwold Suffolk England where she attended Reydon School in Suffolk. She met her husband of 35 years, Jerry Webb, while he was stationed at Bentwaters Air Force Base. After they married Jerry was transferred back to the United States where they lived in several states including Alaska, Texas, Kansas and Florida and WV when he retired in December of 1975.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Vera Goodwin, a brother Gerald Goodwin, all of England, and her husband Jerry Webb.

Those to cherish her memory are Beverly Smith (Scott) of Cool Ridge, Teresa Johnson (Scott) of Beckley, Sharon Rogers (Rick) of Carrollton Ga. Granddaughter Kelli Minor (Cody) of Odd WV, Alexis Gunnoe (Trey) of Fayetteville WV, Grandson Zachary Johnson ( Angel) of Dawson WV, and granddaughter Samantha Rogers of Carrollton Ga. Great grandchildren Cameron and Kyndl Minor, Elli Johnson, and would be welcoming another great grandson in December. A sister Wendy Thacker (Stewart) niece Lindsay Wharan (John) Lucille Thacker, Faye Goodwin, Richard Goodwin and great nephews George Wharan, Luke Wharan , sister in law Christine Goodwin all of England and a host of family and friends.

She loved all animals including her rescue dog for the last 12 years Mitzi. In lieu of flowers her wishes are to make donations to the Raleigh County Animal Shelter at 325 Grey Flats Rd. Beckley WV 25801
