Linda Carol Brown

Born in Coal City, Raleigh County, W.V. She was the daughter of the late Drewry O. and Pearl B. (Hylton) Farley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Serena "Trina" Davis and Sheri Brakefield (Glenn); Grandchildren: Sarah Martin (J.J.), Angel McCutcheon Lamears (Wayne), Tyler Davis (Amanda), Ashley Padilla (Juan), Dakota Davis (Sarah), Amber Wilson, Daryl Wilson, Jr., (Elizabeth), twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; Siblings: Frances, Daphne, Peggy, Arnold and Patricia.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wylie Brown, Son-in-Law Samuel Davis, great-grandson Jonathan Kahl,Jr., and her siblings.

Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. Linda took great pride in her strong work ethic and worked the majority of her adult life in Office Accounting and Administration. Linda loved writing poetry and spending time with her large family and friends. Linda will be extremely missed.

The family would like to thank The Hospice of W.V. for providing such exceptional special care from her nurses and her aide as well as the office staff.

Services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family.

Friends may gather with the family Monday December 9, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
