Mr. John "Frank" Franklin Price

John Franklin “Frank” Price, 94, of Pinch, WV went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2023, after a short illness. He was born December 13, 1929 in Charleston, WV. He was married to his wife Rosetta Elizabeth “Libby” Gill Price from November 6, 1948 until her passing June 18, 2021. They were married 73 years and had one child, John F. Price, Jr. He retired from the Kanawha County School Board in 1989 after 18 years of service as a purchasing coordinator. He loved the Lord and one of his favorite things to do during his retirement years was to post gospel messages on Facebook almost every day to get others to learn to love and follow Gods good works.

There will be no services for him, per his request. His final resting place will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV with his wife and many of her family members. He was preceded in death by his wife Libby, his mother, Vergie Agatha Monk Price and father, Herbert Carl Price, sister Virginia Ann Price Estep, brother William Herbert Price and granddaughter Candice Leigh Price Morris.

Surviving family members include: brothers Robert L. Price(Virginia); Bernard Paul Price (Missouri); brother-in-law Clarence “Tootie” Gill (Beckley WV); son John Price (Debra)(Charleston WV); great grandson Blake T. Morris; grandsons Chris Price and Chad Price; step-grandsons Ron Nelson and Jason Nelson; many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
