James Earl Farley

James met the love of his life, Linda Ann Buckland, in 1987 and spent 37 happy years together. They had 3 children together: Penny, Belinda, and Emily.

James loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time on his four wheeler. One of his favorite things to do was to drive it through mud pits with his family.

James was a member of the Pax Worship Center for many years prior to his passing.

James was preceded in death by his father Clownie Farley, mother Lucinda Farley, and Daughter Emily Farley.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Linda Ann Farley; daughters Penny (Jacques) Moliere and Belinda Farley; brother David (Debbie) Farley; sisters Shirley (Arven) Hanshaw, Patricia (Johnny) Hanshaw, and Mary Sayers; grandchildren Emily Moliere, Conner Moliere, Lincoln Moliere, Dorothy Moliere, and Alaysia Pierce; nephew Justin Helton; niece Caitlane Helton; and many more members of the family and friends.

The visitation and the service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on August 17th, 2023 located at 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley, WV, 25801. Visitation with be from 12:00 pm to 2:00. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.

The family extends a special thanks to Hospice of Southern West Virginia and all of the nurses and aides that took care of him.
