Elsie Faye Cochran

Born on November 17, 1922 in Brooks, WV she was the wife of Joe Cochran who preceded her in death in 1993.

Mrs. Cochran was the daughter of Everett and Ida Meadows of Brooks, WV and was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Bess Davis and Edna Greer and brothers Billy, George, Luther and Cecil Meadows.

Mrs. Cochran was a kind and generous person that enjoyed her family and was active until a short time prior to her death.

Mrs. Cochran is survived by a daughter Susan Houchins (Pete), Monroe, NC, and sons Tom Cochran (Barbara), Daniels, WV, Bob Cochran (Daisy), Beckley, WV, and Joey Cochran (Nancy), Daniels, WV.

Grandchildren; Holly Brady (Zach), Charlotte, NC, Whitney Houchins, Charlotte, NC, Wendy Campbell (Pete), St. Mary’s, GA, Susan Cochran Gass (Frank), Augsburg, Germany, Jeff Cochran (Kellie), Dobson, NC, Brad Cochran (Martha), Teays Valley, WV, Jake Cochran (Lindsey), Charlotte, NC and Katie Hunt (Mark), Beckley, WV.

Great Grandchildren; Jack Brady, Hattie Brady, Moriah Turlington, Isaiah Campbell, David Campbell, Amelia Campbell, Zach Cochran, Taylor Cochran, Sam Cochran, Ben Cochran an Ava Hunt.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, WV at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2021 with Pastor Tim Dillon officiating.

Friends may call one hour before the service. Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to Thank Lisa Walker, FPN-BC her primary care provider, the staff at Raleigh General Hospital and Bowers Hospice House for their kindness and compassion.
