Carl M. Tolliver, Jr, 50, of Mt Nebo passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Carl was the son of Carl Sr. and Dovey Milam Tolliver of Glen Daniel, WV.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Trish; children, Casey, Lindsey, and Adeline; and brother, Timothy.
Carl was a retired Master Sargent, having served over 24 years in the United States Army (AD and WVARNG). He was also employed for over 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, working at FCI Beckley at the time of his death.
Carl enjoyed watching westerns, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was a friend and mentor to many during his careers and was always willing to help others out.
Per his wishes, Carl will be cremated. Friends may gather with the family at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
