Beulah "Boots" Irene Cochran

Born January 3, 1926 in Ashe County, NC. She was the oldest daughter of the late Grant and Florence Hall Davis.

She was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church, attending until her health would not allow. She was known to say that the best decision of her life was when she was saved at 9 years old at Helen Baptist Church and baptized shortly after in the creek.

Boots loved spending time with family and friends, crocheting and growing a large vegetable garden when her health allowed. She had long anticipated the reunion with her husband, James Cochran; granddaughter, Angela Pegram; 7 brothers, Leonard Davis, Elworth Davis, Ralph Davis, JC Davis, Joe Davis, Clarence Davis and Howard Davis; two sisters, Opal Canaday and Mae Blevins.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her brother, Warren Davis of Shady Spring, WV; sister, Patsy Bennett of Lerona, WV; three daughters, Linda Pegram of Wooster, OH, Sharon Ripple of Sophia, WV and Donna Craghead of Beckley, WV; grandchildren, Michael Pegram of Wooster, OH, Traci and Larry Williams of Beckley, WV, Jeff White of Beckley, WV, Brian and Liz White of Kennesaw, GA, Chris and Thelma Craghead of Ballard, WV, Nick and Kim Craghead of Princeton, WV, and James White of King George, VA; great grandchildren, Megan and Billy Workman of Beckley, WV, Haley and Derrick Pettry of Princeton, WV, Todd, Abby and Chloe Craghead of Ballard, WV, Alli, Carley and Kolbey Craghead of Princeton, WV, Briston White of Kennesaw, GA, Nathan and Evan Williams of Beckley, WV; and great great granddaughter, Emersyn Pettry of Princeton, WV.

A very special thank you to her caregiver and dear friend, Barbara McGuire. Her caring neighbors and Hospice of Greenbrier County.

Services will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 1pm with Pastor Mike McCoy officiating.

Friends may gather with the family from 12- 1 pm.

Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.

In keeping with CDC Guidelines all guest must wear facial coverings at all times within the facility.
