Arnold Martin

Born January 18, 1931 at Gary, WV he was the son of Arnold W. Martin Sr. and Irma Kathleen Martin.

Arnold was a coal miner, electrical worker, and farmer. He was faithful member of the Glen View Independent Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and his wife Rosie Lee after 63 years of marriage.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his five children Phillip Martin and his wife Anita, Jerry Martin and his wife Nancy, Diana Gray and her husband Jerold, Charles Martin and his wife Becky, and Nancy Kassaee and her husband Ali. His sisters; Loraine Hundley, Mary Martin and Louise Wolfli and brother, Roy Martin; 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews and relatives and beloved friends.

Services celebrating Arnold’s life will be held at 1PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Pease officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, and Arnold’s grandsons will serve as his pallbearers. Friends my gather with the family two hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
