Agnes Elizabeth Mills

Agnes Elizabeth (Sally) Mills, 87, of Crab Orchard, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones. Sally was born January 21, 1934, at Fireco, WV. She was the daughter of the late Robert Richie and Agnes Irene Hope.

Besides her parents, she was preceded by a son, Terry Mills, a great-grandson Anthony

Taylor Morgan, brothers Junior Hope and wife Charlotte, Johnny Hope, a sister Esther Hope and husband David.

Growing up in Fireco she later met the love of her life Billy Gale Mills and got married December 25, 1950. They lived in Fireco, WV, and later settled in Crab Orchard, WV where they raised 3 wonderful children. After Billy retired they spent their time together enjoying traveling, camping, and spending time with their family.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children Patty Morgan of Crab Orchard, Steve Mills

and wife Tootie of Bolt, sister Margaret Gosnell of Coal City, Brothers Vincent Hope, and wife Pat of Georgia, Bill Hope and wife Jane of Tennessee, sister in law Brenda Hope of Coal City; 9 grandchildren, Shelly Webb and husband Jimmy Webb of Fairdale, Chris Mills and wife Shelly of Allyn, WA, Sabina Morgan of Crab Orchard, Jeremy Mills and wife Jennifer of OH, Sarah Clark of OH, Todd Matherly and wife Leanne of Given, Amber Mills Stover, and husband Frank of Lester, Jason Matherly and wife April of Point Pleasant, Jessica Matherly Belcher, and husband Chris of Bolt; 29 great-grandchildren, Katlin Bell and husband Charlie of Crab Orchard, Jordan Webb of Beckley, Breanna Hendrick and husband Chris of Surveyor, Kyndal Allen and husband Hunter of Fairdale, Haley Clark and husband Phillip of Mabscott, James Robert Webb, Billy Cole Webb of Fairdale, Mitchell and Brooke Mills of Allyn, WA, Kendra Gillenwater, Abigail, Zoey, Asher Matherly of Given, Merci Matherly of Beckley, Morgan and Madelyn Stover of Lester, Lily, Haylie and Bryce Mills of OH, Jordan and Terry Zaayer and Gary Clark of OH, Destiny and Dawson Matherly of Point Pleasant, Nicatye, Colten, Vann and Peyton Williams, and Gavin

Belcher of Bolt; 10 great-great-grandchildren, Connor and Paisley Bell of Crab Orchard, Lane Carpenter, and Ava Webb of Beckley, Grayson and Madisyn Evans and Hudson Hendrick of Surveyor, Rhett and Karina Clark of Mabscott, Harper Allen of Fairdale, and one more on the way, also many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
