Born in Mt. Clements, MI on May 26, 1926, Marian A. Scott (Wolff) was a loving: Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She passed away peacefully on September 28, 2018.
A long standing member of the Portland Community Church, Marian sang in the church choir for over 25 year. She loved to sew anything from wedding dresses to night gowns. Her love of knitting lead her to knit prayer shawls and baby blankets for any member of the community she knew. Marian’s keen eye for detail meant everything she did was far above average. Marian always had a witty crossword answer at the ready or was first at the table for a game of cards or to start a puzzle. She loved to go on senior outings with the church group.
She is survived by her brother Oscar Wolff (Lillian), daughter Alice Gardner, step-daughter Pam Pearson (Wayne), step-son Doug Scott (Laura), granddaughter Sarah Shults (Brian), great-grandson Oskar, and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband G. Ray Scott, son Carl Scott, and her parents Elmer A. Wolff and Alice C. Wolff. She is loved and will be missed by many.
