Joe was born July 26, 1938 in Guadalajara Mexico to Eduvijes and Juanita Valadez.
He spent his childhood in Tijuana, Mexico and he had 8 sisters and 1 brother.
That's where he met Mary and had three children, Patricia, Rosa, and Joe. They moved to Poway, CA in 1962, where they raised their children. Joe was very involved in the community. He was President of the Poway Jaycee's.
Joe worked for Cox Cable in California and eventually traveled for work to Oklahoma, Washington State and Santiago, Chile. He returned to the Northwest and retired in Portland, Oregon.
Joe lost his wife, Mary in December of 1998. A few years later he married, Kathy.
Joe enjoyed woodworking, fishing, reading and spending time at the beach.
Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Joe is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughters Patty, Rosa, son Joe, and stepdaughter Mary, along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
