Shirley Ann Taylor Hilton, 92, of Beaumont died Monday, September 12, 2022 at Summer Place Nursing Home in Beaumont. A native and longtime resident of Beaumont, Shirley was a homemaker. Shirley was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Beaumont, South Park High School Alum, Army wife for 20 years, and a family member of the Taylor Bayou Settlers. Shirley also enjoyed crocheting, fishing at the lake, gardening, playing video games, and solving crossword puzzles, but she especially loved playing piano.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband William Frederick Hilton, parents, Leslie August and Lucille Yawn Taylor, and her brother, Charles Leslie Taylor.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jean Taylor and her husband George of Port Arthur, her two grandsons, William Key and his wife Stacey of Bridge City, and Thomas Taylor and his wife Kellie of McKinney, TX., and her 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Cancer Society.
Shirley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
