Roy Simeon Black, 78, of Beaumont, passed away on Monday February 29, 2016 in Beaumont. Mr. Black was born December 18, 1937 in Newhill, North Carolina to his parents Simeon and Frances Black who preceded him in death. He was a Correctional Officer for the State of Texas, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a United States Air Force veteran. Roy is survived by his loving wife; Ima Black, sons; John Moore and wife Katy, Joe Moore, daughters; Danis Walton and Alice Hayes, sister; Virginia Adcock, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 3, 2016 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
