Rita Lou York

Rita Lou York, 63, of Beaumont, TX passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Mid Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Nederland. Rita was born April 25, 1948, in Woodville, TX and has lived in Beaumont since 1995 and was a former resident of Groves. Rita had worked for The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in the billing department.

Rita is survived by her husband, Lester York; parents, Leon & Delores Bridges of Nacogdoches; grandmother, Winnie Bridges of Buna; son, Robby York of Winters, TX; daughters, Tina Houser and husband James of Middleburg, FL, Barbara York of Barataria, LA and Angie Greenwood of Crowley, TX; brother, Ricky Bridges of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Veta Miller and husband Steven of Port Washington, WI and Cyndy Bridges of Nacogdoches; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12 p.m., on December 19, 2011, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m., at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
