Judy Elaine Smith

Judy Elaine Smith, 76, of Lumberton, died Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, Judy has lived in Lumberton for 30 years, and was a retired mail carrier. Judy enjoyed painting, horses, cats, plants, and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Judy's life will begin at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Assurance. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Judy was preceded in death by her father John Tucker, brothers, Johnny Tucker and Doug Tucker.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Freddie Smith of Lumberton, mother, Shirley Ketterer of Crockett, daughters, Amy Smith of Silsbee, and Melissa Pena and her husband Johnny of Vidor, sister Karen Cole and her husband Richard of Crockett, and her grandchildren, Natalie, Dawson, Landon, and Davey, great-grandchildren, Sakura and Oliver, and her niece Holle Leger and her husband Daniel of Austin.

Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
