Jimmy Lloyd McKnight Sr.

Jimmy Loyd McKnight, Sr., 82, of Beaumont, died Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Bay County, FL., he was a longtime resident of Bonifay, FL., before moving to Beaumont 1 year ago. Jimmy enjoyed collecting different things, mechanic work, but his favorite past time was treasure hunting, and spending time with his family.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Bonifay, FL.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Dock Malone and Mallie Pate McKnight, his brothers Paul McKnight, Herbert McKnight, Lois McKnight, and Arthur McKnight, his sister Besse McKnight Flowers, and his grandson Shane Edgerly.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Lisa Edgerly and her husband Shane of Bridge City, Debbie Meguess and her husband James of Fannett, Jimmy L. McKnight, Jr and his fiance' Sherry of Fannett, Johnny L. McKnight and his wife Aundrea of Orlando, FL., and Scotty Hewes and his wife April of Moore, OK., brother, Fred McKnight of Bonifay, FL., his grandchildren, Shai McKnight, Katelyn Pyle, Noah McKnight, Saryn Rogers, Tanner Edgerly, his five great grandchildren, and his beloved dog Roxy.

Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
