Janice Susan Cooper Christoffers

Janice Susan Cooper Christoffers, age 73, of Beaumont, Texas passed from this life on Sunday morning, June 9, 2024. Janice was born in Beaumont, Texas to P.L. and Lolita Cooper, and lived in the Beaumont area for her entire life, except for her years attending college at Kilgore College.

Janice was known for her delicious cakes, which she was called on to make for so many friends and family over her life, and she was always more than happy to oblige. She loved caring for people, and trained to become a nurse's assistant, serving for a few years at Christus St. Elizabeth until she had to leave work to care for her mother. She later served with the Angels of Destiny to bring care and hope to so many hurting and lonely people. Her smile and her warmth will be deeply missed by so very many.

Janice was preceded in passing by her father P.L. and her mother Lolita, her brother Lew and her sister Gloria. Janice is survived by her son Dann, his wife Crystal, and their two children Viktor and Zara, as well as her brother-in-law Ron and his children Lisa and Marc and their families, her brother-in-law David and his wife Rhonda and their children and families, and so many cousins and loved ones and church brethren. She also leaves behind her spiritual family at the North Church, whom she loved deeply.

A gathering of friends and family for Janice will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703, followed by a a celebration of Janice's life at 2:00 PM.
