Jack Wesley McCoy

Jack W. McCoy Sr. 74, of Wildwood, Texas went to be with our Lord on December 29, 2011. He was born August 28, 1937 to Rowena and Bill McCoy. He lost the love of his life, Jerry McCoy, his wife of 57 years on September 27, 2011. He was the father of Terri and Grant Moye, Tammy and Dale Freeman, and the late Jack Wesley McCoy Jr. He was grandfather to Cory and Aleisha Moye, Wes Moye, Blake and Vicki Moye, and Paul and Kristi Trahan. He was the step-grandfather of Leann McNulty, Janna and Jamey Royer, and Tim and Kim Freeman. He was blessed with 13 great grandchildren. He is survived by a brother, Jimmy and JoAnn McCoy; a sister, Pat and Roy Crysel along with many nieces and nephews.

He was a private man but was a Christian and loved the Lord. He did not attend Church but knew the Lord and had his own special relationship with Him.

Due to health he had to take an early retirement from Ideco in Beaumont. He then helped with the home, grandchildren, and his most important duty of being a loving husband of our mother. When we lost our mother in September his heart went to heaven with our mom but his body remained with us. He missed her so much. We now find peace in knowing he is in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father and reunited with our mother.

He will long be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and step grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will take place Monday, January 2, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services to be held Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
