Helen Marie Light

Helen Marie Light, 76, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at her residence. A native and longtime resident of Beaumont, she later lived on Toledo Bend for several years. Helen was a retired Real Estate Agent with Homestead Realty. Helen enjoyed working out in the yard and gardening, reading, being with friends and family, and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandbabies.

A Celebration Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Assurance Garden at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Mable Elizabeth Pharris, brother John Pharris, sister Linda Pharris Albritton, and her granddaughter Lindsey Galloway.

Helen is survived by her loving husband Robert Light of Beaumont, her daughters Christine Galloway of Beaumont, Marcy Norman and her husband Michael of Fannett, and Brittny Livermore and her husband Cody of Beaumont, her grandchildren Jackson T. Norman of Fannett, Sawyer Livermore of Beaumont, and Gracie Livermore of Beaumont.

The Light family would like to give special thanks to Altus Hospice nurses and staff for their kind care.

Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
