Edith “Fay” Willis, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Baytown, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clay Duckworth officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Fay was born in Jasper, Texas on April 4, 1942 to the late F.A. Fowler and Maglean Toney Fowler. She retired from Golden Triangle Periodicals as a distribution supervisor. She was a member of Family Worship Church in Dayton, TX. Fay loved to play bingo, fishing and fish fries with her family. She always looked forward to spring every year so she could plant beautiful flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Evyone Bland, Dinnie Tyra and Helen Frances Biscamp.
Survivors include her sister, Bertie M. George and three step children; Chuck Willis, Angela Kay Willis and Melissa Sue Willis. Four grandchildren; Chad Willis, Shane Willis, Savannah Horn and Cheyenne Gerald. As well as two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
