Betty Lou Gilbreath, 92, of Lumberton, died Friday, January 19, 2024 at Paradigm At The Pines Nursing Home in Silsbee. A native of Deweyville, she has lived in Lumberton for 55 years, and was homemaker. Betty enjoyed shopping and traveling.
A Celebration of Betty's Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Richard Gilbreath, son, Donald Wayne Hernandez, her brother Hershel Davenport, her grandson D. J. Hernandez and her parents Jack and Odie Mae Turner.
Betty is survived by her son, Daniel Hernandez and his wife Mary, sister, Evon Rutledge all of Lumberton, sister, Sharon Milner of Kountze, grandchildren, William Hernandez and his wife Brandi of Lumberton, Al Hernandez of Jasper, April Barton, and Dale Hernandez and his wife Chelsea all of Lumberton, also by her 11 great grandchildren, five nieces and four nephews.
Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
