Bettie Lou Nixon Patterson Coker, 80, of Lumberton, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Victory Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Vidor, Bettie has lived in Lumberton for 40 years and was a homemaker. Bettie was an active member of The Ladies Pokeno Card Group, and enjoyed being with her family and friends. Bettie was an active member of her church Crestwood Baptist Church in Lumberton.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Crestwood Baptist Church, 1150 US Hwy 69 S, Kountze, Texas 77625.
Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Willie Manning Nixon, and her sister, Bobbie McMillan.
Bettie is survived by her loving husband of 10 years Roy Coker of Lumberton, son, Tom Patterson and his wife Cyndi of Lumberton, daughter, Lisa Kincaid and her husband Kal of Beaumont, sister, Billie Goodeaux of China, TX., granddaughters, Ashley Droddy and her husband Jake, Kara Michael and her husband Andrew, her great grandchildren, Cole Droddy, Natalie Michael, and Teddy Michael.
