John Robinson Jr was born to John Robinson Sr and Dannie Robinson on February 15th 1953 in Collinston, Louisiana. Later his mother relocated to Banning, California in 1962. John graduated from Banning High School in 1971 where he was and All-Star running back and basketball phenom, including the Athlete of the Year in '71. After retiring from the United States Army he embarked on his business career as a regional manager of the Vons/ Safeway grocery stores. John was the president of the Rotary Club in 2007. John also hosted a list of foreign exchange students from around the world including Japan & Yugoslavia. John's most loved past time was riding horses and watching westerns. He was very well known, loved and respected in the community. John's absence will be greatly missed by many.
John is preceded in death by his grandmother Marie Maddox; father & mother, Dannie & John Sr; Sister, Luvenia 'Maam' Carly & Auntie, Delores Harris.
John is survived by his daughter and son; Katina Robinson-Morgan & Jonathan Robinson. Brothers; Solomon Robinson, Willie Trice, Ervin Robinson & Travis Robinson. Sister; Anna Lee Harris. Grandchildren; Bryce Cooper, Roman Robinson, Azreal Robinson & Kalaya Robinson. Grandchildren; Xielle, Xari , Zacari, Uziah, Zamir, Yanyion, Kuwei & Ajalon. John also has a list of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of special friends.
