He was born August 09, 1949, in Baytown Texas, the son of Tex and Georgia Haltom. He was a member of the Baptist faith and is now in the arms of his loving Lord.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Kathy Haltom, his parents Tex and Georgia Haltom, his sister Lavon Herrington and grandson, Noah Potter.
Weldon graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, Class of 1967. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Enterprise Products Partners on May 31, 2013, after 41 years. Weldon loved spending time with family and friends, restoring classic cars, riding his Harley trike, wood-working in his shop, collecting guns and attending events with his special friend, Luann Bland.
He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth Haltom Rodriguez and husband Santos, Mary Haltom, Gloria Haltom and step-daughter. Heather Sipole. Grandchildren, Brian. Destie, Zachary, Dalton, Kaylyn, Kathryn, Lake, and Preston, as well as 5 great grandchildren. Sisters Alice and Mike Jeffery and Deila and Tommy Braden.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Bart Bagwell.
