Samuel "Sammy" Fuentes Moreno

Samuel "Sammy" Fuentes Moreno, 37, of Baytown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family December 25, 2023. God gave us the gift of one last Christmas with him and for that we are eternally grateful. He was able to open his presents and give us some laughs and lasting memories.

Sammy was born April 22,1986 in Matamoros, Mexico to parents Ezequiel Fuentes Flores and Maria Moreno G and has resided in Baytown for the last 30 years. He was a graduate from Ross S Sterling High School. Sammy enjoyed his life to the fullest and enjoyed watching superhero movies, cartoons, and he loved being the center of attention for his family and friends. He loved to dance and he had a very unique sense of humor. Sammy enjoyed collecting Transformers, cars, dinosaurs and Spiderman and Batman memorabilia. If you encountered him you were sure to get a hug and a kiss. He always spoke his mind even with his limited speech. Sammy leaves a huge void in our hearts but we know he is in a better place. He will be greatly missed.

Sammy was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and brother: Ezequiel Fuentes Flores, Bernardo Fuentes Guerra Santos Flores Garcia, Juan Moreno and Marta Galvan, and Juan Bernardo Fuentes.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Moreno G; sisters, Maria M Fuentes, Isabel C Lopez, Claudia V Fuentes, Maria Rodriguez, Linda De Leon, Laura Fuentes G, Nora Fuentes, Griselda Fuentes; brothers, Ezequiel E Fuentes, Ismael Fuentes G, Ezequiel Fuentes, Pedro E Fuentes, Daniel A Fuentes, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5 - 8 pm, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521, with family eulogies to begin at 6:30 pm, followed by service from 7-8 pm.
