Samuel Herrera

Samuel Herrera, 49, of Baytown, Texas died on February 24, 2018. He was born on February 19, 1969 in Cotija De La Daz, Michoacan Mexico. He loved his nieces, nephews and listening to music from groups like Los Bukis, Los Temererarios, Grupo Libra, Los Fujitivos and many others. He also enjoyed playing dominoes at family gatherings. He enjoyed and loved spending time with his animals, roosters and chickens. He was very loved by his family. He would attend Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Ramiro Herrera and nephew, Julio Cesar Herrera. He is survived by his Mother, Teresa Herrera Alcazar; brothers and sisters, Alicia Herrera, Ramon Herrera, Maria del Rosario Herrera, Jesus Herrera, Jose Luis Herrera, Maria Guadalupe Herrera, Gonzalo Herrera, Teresa Herrera and all his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles that he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5-8PM with a rosary beginning at 7PM in the chapel of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home ∙ 3919 Garth Road∙ Baytown, Texas 77575. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church ∙ 915 Runneburg Street ∙ Crosby, Texas 77532. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery ∙ 8624 Garth Road ∙ Baytown, Texas 77521.
