Keith, we remember Mr Roy and how much he loved to watch you'll play ball.  He gave of so much time to be a grandfather to remember.   May your tears become rainbows when you remember your loved one.

Keith, Jonathan and family,
Roy Hart was one of the finest men we have ever known. You didn't have to be around Roy long to realize what kind of man he was.He was always fair,kind,and honest. Above all else, it was easy to see how much he loved his family. When we came back to Baytown, we would always go by and see Roy. His eyes would just light up as he talked about Keith and Jonathan.He was so proud of you both. We treasure our friendship with Roy and are blessed to have known such a special man. We will continue to hold you up in prayer.

My mother was Donnie Mason Easley. All my life I have heard all the funny stories of Aunt Thelma's kids. I know he will be greatly missed, but he has a lot of people waiting on him for a reunion on high!! Blessing to the family!

You are all in my prayers.  I'll never forget the many wonderful conversations I had with Mr. Hart at the ballpark.  A perfect example of what all fathers and grandfathers should be like.

Jonathan, we were so sorry to hear about your grandfather.  You and your family are in our prayers.

Keith- Sorry to hear about your loss. When you and my lil bro played ball together, I looked forward to finding a spot next to Mr. Hart to watch yall play. Picking his brain, and listening to his stories. You always made him very proud, and Im sure that never changed.

With our families being only a mile apart during the early days of my youth and Roy being much older, it was like having an older brother.  Roy always thought my dad was the best at anything he did and Aunt Eula was a special lady to Roy.  As out families have grown and scattered across the country many close relationships have been lost but the memories we hold will never fade away as they will always be the foundation of our life on earth.  May God bless all of you.

Much love to all.  Roy and Wilma made a great impact on our lives(mine especially at a young age when ""Ricky"" was a baby.)  They did so much for the family and we will always remember the great times with all of you.

Wilma died in June 2004; Roy was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January 2004.

I am so thankful to be one of Roy’s five sisters. I enjoy the memories of our younger days, eight children at home with our wonderful mother, and loving memories of our dad who died so young, in 1947, and the later years as our children were grown, family get-togethers/reunions,some at Roy and Wilma's, etc.
Roy was thoughtful, giving, very caring, loving, a man of integrity and a real gentleman.  He always looked so handsome, dressed so nicely.  He cared about his appearance.   
When Wilma died in June 2001,  living only a few weeks, after being diagnosed with cancer and Roy having been diagnosed with multiple myeloma just a few months before, in January 2001,he struggled, but his faith in God reminded him that the Lord would take care of him, which He did. 
At times,our phone calls would last for up to an hour discussing family, his cancer and therapy/progress. Roy and I would also sing Mother's praises of how she was able to rear us through the hard times and how grateful we were to have her.
Roy’s three children and wonderful grandchildren were a JOY to him; the great-grandchildren were the “icing on the cake”, so to speak. Regarding grand/great-grandchildren as little ones,   I can just hear him say, “That’s Papaw’s baby boy, you better believe it.”
The older grandsons are just about grown now.  Each of them had a special place in Roy’s heart.  He (and Wilma) supported each one in attending many, many baseball games, in and out of Baytown; another joy!
In Hospice, family never left his side; they were there day and night, until the end on Friday morning. I so appreciate their love and devotion in honoring him for the wonderful father and grandfather he was to them. Their life will never be the same, but will be filled with beautiful memories, reminders of his love, his examples of wisdom to guide them and to emulate with their mates, children and their future grandchildren.
No amount of money could buy our sweet memories of the good times. Thank you, God, for each one of them.  (I Thessalonians 5:18 “.... in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”)

Roy Hart was a role model of what being a good man was all about. Growing up across the street from him with Richard, Karen, and James, I have always honored and respected him as a close father figure in my life. He exemplified the idea that excellence is the standard, yet grace is the word. He watched over my parents in their golden years in spite of his own difficulties, just as he always was a rock for me. To this warrior who is now in Glory, I say, Semper Fidelis, and thank you.

We are very sorry to hear of Roy's passing. Our prayers will be with the family and his friends. I remember Roy when I taught Richard ,James and Karen at Cedar Bayou Jr. and of course at the Little League  fields with Keith and Jonathan. Our family has known the influnce Roy made on the lives of his kids,grandkids and my son  John. We will miss him and keep you in our prayers.

Roy was a very respected co-worker at DuPont. Roy was always someone I enjoyed being around, and talking to. He was a great guy, and he sure loved his kids & grandkids. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

MR. HART WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON. HE ALWAYS TREATED US RIGHT.  WE WILL MISS HIM. JUST REMEMBER HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE AND IS NO LONGER SUFFERING.   LOVE YA.

Thanks for everything. You are my Hero, Role Model, the man I want to be. I always look to you for guidance and you were always there to help. My life is better because of you. There are so many memories that keep playing through my head and they all end with the love you had for all of us.  You showed us the way to be in life. You are loved so much and always will be. We have always respected and admired Roy in working with him at DuPont and as a personal friend.  His greatest love was his family. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Papaw for all the great memories I’ve had with you. I will still call on you for advice, and I know you will still be there for me. I only hope that one day I can be half the man you were. Hug Granny's neck for me and know that I will always love you. And don't worry, I will take care of your babies.
