Rosalie Davis

Rosalie Davis, 87, of Baytown passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 in Baytown. Rosalie was born January 3, 1920 in Cedar Bayou, now Baytown, to Prentice and Violet Grace Spencer Wright. Rosalie loved cooking, country and western music, crocheting, and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elna Tenson Davis; son, W. J. Davis; grandsons, Michael and Stephen Davis; and brother Hershel Wright.

She is survived by a son, Prentice and wife Marie of Baytown; daughter, Margaret Moses and husband Bloss of Baytown; sister, Scnobia Clement of Baytown; granddaughters, Kara Earley and husband Larry of Conroe; Renee Fussell and husband Dale of Baytown; and Debra Macanall of Baytown; nine great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Navarre Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Cedarcrest Cemetery with memorial services at 3:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses 1102 Cedar Bayou Road with Brother Larry Hagan officiating.
