Robert Johnson

Robert E. Johnson, 72, of Baytown, TX, passed away on Sept. 19, 2010. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family and cooking Sunday meals for everyone’s enjoyment. He was a gentle giant who always gave of himself and never asked for anything in return. He worked for Force Corporation in La Porte, TX, for 35 years as a senior vice president. He was a man who led by example.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anglin and Annie Johnson; brothers, Jerry Johnson and James E. Johnson and great grandson, Caleb Daniel Green.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Renvah Means Johnson; son, William Robert Johnson and wife Jeanne of Baytown, TX; daughter, Angela M. Johnson of Conway, AR; granddaughters, Lehla Benavides and husband John of Baytown, TX, Taylor Danielle and Mary Kate Johnson of Baytown, TX; great grandchildren, John Benavides III, Zaida Benavides, Robert Blake and Emily Grace Green, all of Baytown, TX, and numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at Earthman Funeral Home.
