Mary Frances Turner, 92, of Orange, Texas, passed away January 7, 2022. She was born in Lamesa, Texas on October 29, 1929 to Dewey McCullough & Ollie Aslin McCullough. She was married to Edward Herbert Turner for 70 years. She was a member of Baptist Temple Baptist Church for 49 years and most currently a member of Little Cypress Baptist Church of Orange, Texas and had a passion for teaching Sunday School, Gideon’s International, her children, grandchildren and extended family.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Hebert Turner; her parents, Dewey McCullough; Euell & Ollie Fagan; brother Cecil McCullough; along with many beloved friends and family members.
She is survived by her sisters, Pat McCullough, Laverne McCullough, Diane Thompson, and brother, Gary Bussell; her sons, Stanley Turner and wife Kay, David Turner and wife Elizabeth, Mark Turner and wife Dana, Robert Turner and wife Marcia, two daughters, Susan Turner; Ramona Brister and husband Rick. She is also survived by grandchildren, Bret Turner and wife Michelle, Amy Johnson and husband Robby, Matthew Turner and wife Marcia, Daniel Turner and wife Kayla, Deborah Dorband and husband Dustin, Lindsay Miller and husband Shane, Derek Turner, Trevor Turner and wife Autumn, Lauren Turner and fiancé Trevor Nikrant, Timothy Turner, Sarah Daigle and husband Clayton, David Brister and wife Danielle; great grandchildren, Aubrey Turner, Olivia Turner, Lucy Wilson, Aston Johnson, Lucus Johnson, Alisa Johnson, Mia Turner, Miles Turner, Avi Turner, Michael Turner, Kyle Dorband, Nathaniel Dorband, Kaitlyn Daigle, Edward J. Brister, Henry A. Brister and Elijah Miller.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Navarre Funeral Home on Monday, January 17, 2022 from10:30 am to 11:30 am. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 am in the chapel of Navarre Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
