Mary Frances Dawson

Mary Frances Dawson of Highlands, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the age of 90. Frances was born on February 7, 1932 in Odenville, Alabama to parents Charles Edward House and Otella Burden House. She was married to Walter Edwin Dawson until his passing on July 16, 1984.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Otella House; and husband Walter Edwin Dawson; son Joseph Edwin Dawson; and son-in-law James Marshall Ponder. She is survived by her daughter Jill Ponder of Saint Augustine, Florida; and her son Jeffery Malone Dawson and husband Andre’ Ferreira of Houston, Texas. Frances (MeeMaw) is also survived by five grandchildren Liana Michele Knight, Lisha Nicole Ponder, Jessica Dawson Lintelman, Joseph Wiliam Dawson, Sara Louise Dawson; also she was blessed with and survived by two great-grandchildren Addison Kate Knight and Mace Von Lintelman.

Frances (Noodles) is also survived by her long time, very dear friend Sally Speer. A special thank you to another dear friend, Lois Welch, for helping us take care of our Mom.
