Jerry Wayne Tieman, 81, of Baytown, Texas joined Jesus in Heaven on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He was known for his love of fishing, supporting missionaries, and his church. Family gatherings were important to him, and he so enjoyed hosting the 4th of July and Christmas at his home. He was known for his laughter and great sense of humor.
Jerry was born to Ernest and Pauline Tieman, June 14, 1942, in Baytown, Texas. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and served in the Army National Guard. He retired from Dupont in 2001.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Eva Ruth (Inman) Tieman, parents Ernest and Pauline Tieman, sister Joy Dell Heintschel, brothers, Raymond, Charles, Harold, and Glen. After the death of his wife Eva, the Lord brought Carol Sue Fitzmorris into his life who loved him and his family dearly. He was preceded in death by wife Carol.
He is survived by his children Julie Doyle (Steve), Stephanie McGowan (Donny), stepchildren David and Glena grandchildren Ashley, Nichole, and Tyler and great-grandchildren Hailee and Wyatt whom he loved dearly. He also leaves his siblings Leon and wife Lynda, Peggy Wehmeyer and husband Marion, brother-in-law Jack Heintschel, sisters-in-law Elaine, Betty, Penny and a host of nieces and nephews and many other family members.
Family and Friends are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life service on Sat. Feb. 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Faith Assembly of God, located at 3940 Vista Rd, Pasadena, Tx. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Assembly of God.
