James Leland Casey

James Leland Casey (Lee), 54, of Baytown, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, surrounded by family. Lee leaves behind his daughter Kadi Casey and grandson Zaheer Baber, his son Kodi Casey, his wife Melissa Casey, and step-children Jamie Beard, Allie Wyatt, and Tony Wyatt. Lee is also survived by his brother and best friend Donny Casey and wife Dianna Casey; nieces and nephews Keth Lewellyn, Clay Casey, and Ayla Hamilton.

Lee is preceded in death by his mother and father, Odell and Dorthie Casey, and his brother Kenny Casey.

Lee lived life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to have a good time. He loved his 30 years spent at Coastal Water Authority and prided himself on being a "water boy." Although he loved his career, his most important job was being a grandpa to Zaheer, where he served as Paw Paw Pork-Chop and made sure to break all the rules.

Lee never met a stranger and helped anyone in need. He was a standup guy who let things easily roll off his shoulders. To know him is to love him, and his strong faith in the Lord peacefully lead him home.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church 3700 N. Hwy. 146, Baytown, TX 77521. Interment will follow in Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Cemetery, 2714 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77520.
