Jack Winston Williams, 82, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Baytown. Jack was born in Goose Creek to his late parents, Clyde L. Williams and Hattie Tamsey Williams, was a lifelong resident of the Baytown area, member of the Cedar Bayou Methodist Church, a retired Process Supervisor from Exxon with over 30 years of service and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre. Mr. Williams was also a past member of the Bayshore Fine Rides and the Bayshore Wagon Wheels.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Beatrice Williams of Baytown; sons, Dennis Williams of Houston and Royce Williams and his wife Kathy of Baytown; daughter, Kim L. Hall and her husband Fred of Baytown; grandchildren Gavin Williams, Jason Smith and Heather Phillips; several great-grandchildren, sister, Opal Tillery and her husband Rev. R. C. Tillery; step-sister, Jean Meisberger and her husband Lee and several Nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church's Alexander Chapel with Ray Tillery officiating. Interment will follow at the Cedar Bayou Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Baytown.
Pallbearers will be: Glenn Dyess, Jack Smith, H. L. Sanders, Paul Patterson, Lynn Enderli and Vern Haynes.
Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Lewis.
