Rich lived in Baytown, Texas most of his life and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He worked for ExxonMobil Chemicals for fifty years as a machinist/expeditor, and for SNC contract company for twenty years after his retirement from ExxonMobil.
Rich volunteered with the Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball. He was a member of the Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Baytown, Texas and enjoyed participating in church community activities. He loved to garden, cane chairs, and make homemade wine and pickles.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Raymond and Opal Skinner; spouses, Norma Skinner, and Lela Belle Skinner; his sister Nita Brewer, and daughter, Susan Keeter. He is survived by: his sons and their spouses, Steve and Seleste Skinner, and Larry and Cara Skinner; grandchildren, Christy and Ty Bandy, Michael and Trisha Skinner, Holly and Charlie Bandy, Nicholas Skinner and Breanna Fugate, Christopher and Amanda Russell; and four great-grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests that donations be made to Helping Hands of Georgetown in lieu of flowers.
A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Cook Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas.
