Freddie Lynn Walker, 77, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on December 27th, 2023. He was born in Baytown (formerly Goose Creek), Texas on April 8, 1946 to Woodrow Wilson and Ollie Mae Walker. Lynn graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1964. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He made a career of outside sales in the steel and bar grating industry for over 30 years and loved the traveling and friends/customers that he met while making a living. Lynn was a longtime member of Cedar Bayou Grace Methodist Church in Baytown.
Lynn was preceded in death by his twin brother, Glynn, older brother, Wilson and his parents, Ollie Mae and Woodrow Wilson Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Kay Walker, son, James Craig Walker, and daughter and son in law, Dana Beth and Marvin Moore. Survivors also include his grandchildren, Nolan Lynn Walker, James Tyler and wife, Autumn Walker, Hayden Reed Walker, Ryan Maxwell Moore, and Alyson Katie Moore as well as great grandchildren Gabby, Winter, Celeste, and Lilly. There is nothing Lynn loved more than spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren, and he will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Lynn will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas, 77521. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at Navarre Funeral Home. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 5127 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas.
Pallbearers will include grandsons, Nolan, James Tyler, Hayden, and Max, family friend, Jimmy Jones, and nephews, Scooter and Jason Gray, and Kyle Walker. Granddaughter, Aly will be an honorary pallbearer.
