Frank Oden Acker

Frank “Big Chief” Acker was a champion domino player. He loved spending time with his family and friends and when he wasn’t enjoying a good meal or having coffee with his buddies, you could find him cutting grass well into the evening. He served his country as a US Marine, was a member of the Masonic Lodge Baytown#1357, and was a retired barber.

Frank enjoyed listening to country and western music, attending the Baytown Little Theatre, and gardening.

Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Jewel Acker, and his father, William Harmon Acker. He is survived by his son, Danny Acker and wife, Nicole of Highlands, TX; son, Kevin Acker of Baytown, TX; granddaughters, Kacee Acker and Ashlee Acker of Baytown, TX; and fur grandkids, Khloee and Murphy.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation at Earthman Funeral Home 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521 on November 3, 2017 from 4pm-6pm and a funeral service immediately following at 6pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Kendrek Herron of Earthman Funeral Home in Baytown.
