Christopher Michael Gomez

Christopher was born in Houston, Texas on November 23, 1977. He graduated from Robert E. Lee in Baytown, TX, class of 1996. After graduating high school, Chris joined the navy and was active for 8 years. He traveled the world, enjoying Japan and Hawaii the most. Chris got his degree from Full Sail University as well as numerous certifications in technology, electronics, and mechanics. Chris loved being a lifelong student and keeping up with the latest technology. Chris never knew a stranger, he was incredible at making friends. He was an avid sports fan. Chris was also a wonderful cook. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, and spending time with his friends.

Christopher is survived by his parents Paul and Jesusa (Susie) Gomez, sister and brother in law Teresa and Guillermo Cantu III, his sister Elizabeth Gomez as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christopher is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pablo and Isabella Gomez, his maternal grandparents Guadalupe and Francis Rodriguez, his uncle and aunt Hector and Marie Christine Garza, his uncle Robert Gomez, and his cousin Leslie Ann Rodriguez.

A visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 5-8 pm with a Rosary to begin at 7 pm. The funeral mass will take place at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 1, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1907 Carolina Ave, Baytown, TX 77520, with burial to follow at 1:45 pm in Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
