Carroll W. Boutte cared deeply for her family, friends and nature. As a single mother she was both mother and father to her three “angels.” She enjoyed horseback riding in her youth and the ocean throughout her life, not forgetting the hiking and fishing she enjoyed with her sons. She was a true animal lover, especially her dogs and squirrels and supported several animal related charities. Music was important to her with Elvis a constant love. Dark chocolate, especially Fannie Mae and Sees were her special treats. As an Airforce veteran she did most of her work as a dental assistant in San Antonio, instead of traveling as she intended, but she remarked that her time was unforgettable. Working at the pentagon she was instrumental in many organizational works including providing captions and choosing pictures for World War II - Time Life Books. She worked part-time at the American Legion, Commonwealth and Fair Oaks Hospital and made many heart-felt friends.
She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Epefania, her son Robert and his wife Jodie, and her daughter Donna and her husband Tom, granddaughters Raina and her husband Ryan, Jessica, Danielle, Carroll Ann, and Michelle, her great-grand son Brendan, her nephews David, Michael, her nieces Mary and husband Steve and Christina; her grand-nephews Matthew, Benjamin, her grand-nieces Sara, Natalie and dear friends from Virginia and Texas. She was preceded in her passing by her mother Gladys, father Charles, her sister Leslee, brother in law John and her nephew Richard.
