My deepest sympathies to the family. Jose' and me visited dear Abuela at St Luke's hospital and my memory will be cherished, please let me share it with you. 
 It was evident that she had a classy and distinct personality, one dominated by kindness and love ❤️ We immediately felt as family. Our intent was to give her comfort and encouragement in her time of need. Our conversation was about familiar friends and family.  Then she wanted to talk about the thoughts in Revelation 21:3,4 that speaks about the tent of God being with mankind, and pain and tears and death being no more. She expressed her view that God's Kingdom would bring peace to mankind and end our suffering. She had a look in her eye when she talked, it was full of conviction and sincerity. I'm sure as a family you know this look when she talked. She longed for the paradise and made it clear she wanted to be there. It was such a pleasure to be of some comfort. We truly look forward to seeing her again and experiencing life as it was meant to be, free from suffering. We pray the family may have the peace and comfort that can only come from our loving and merciful God Jehovah.

Abuela you have no idea how much your family misses you! We love you forever. I pray your love and kindness passes on to all of us. So that we can shine and spread love just like you did❤️

This was a beautiful memory also this year in May 2023. Despite her challenges she wanted to get out and partayyyy. What a blast we had with her. Karoake, dancing, music, and many laughs. She truly had a full life of so many memories with others and around the world.  I look forward to God's promise in Isaiah 65:20-22 and Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:29, to see her soon right here on earth so we can continue dancing, planting, eating, building our houses together truly enjoying life forever and no more death(RIP) Resurrection In Paradise. I can't wait to see all my love ones, I'm having a welcome back party in Paradise everyone is invited to come. Will you accept this invitation? 🙏

Abuela made sure she made every family gathering. Always good cooking,laughs, games and music.

This day we were at beach and she played Dominos.  And planning to make 4 cheesecakes with cherries on top to give to the Police. She is such a loving and giving person. Always supporting the needs and interests of others. What a strong and independent woman.  Love her and miss her.

I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to all of the family and friends of Luz Maria Pagan Berrios, our beloved ‘Lucy’.

Lucy’s zest for life and love of family, friends and people will be sorely missed.  Memories of her, of her trips abroad with friends and family; her picnics at home in Milwaukee dishing out her delicious food including her delicious Arroz Con Gandules from a gigantic olla (pot) rests fondly in my and our memories.

May we draw comfort from our loving Heavenly Father and his promise of the resurrection hope for our loved ones who are asleep in death, living once again in a paradise with everlasting life.
