William Paul White, age 88, of Baton Rouge, passed away on June 29, 2023. Born into the Stoney Point community of Washington Parish on April 4, 1935, he moved to Baton Rouge in 1953 after graduating from Franklinton HS. After a few years of odd jobs, including Louisiana Creamery and offshore, he married in 1957 and settled into a long and enjoyable career with Community Coffee (retiring as purchasing manager). He was a loving son, husband, father, PawPaw, and great-grandfather who cared for his family and friends. He loved working at the farm in Stoney Point (where for many years he raised cattle), traveling, and attending/watching LSU sports. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Betty Jean (Williams) White, his parents (Johnnie and Eva White) and his older brother (Robert Earl White). He leaves behind a son, Kevin White (Patty) of Lucedale, MS; a daughter, Karen Brashier of Finlayson, MN; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Brashier (JoJo) of Denham Springs, LA, Mackenzie White (Michael Hatch) of Atsugi Japan, Katherine Brashier Parritt (David) of Finlayson, MN, Miranda White Scalabrino (Anthony) of Milwaukee, WI; 6 great-grandchildren, Emily Brashier, Makayla Brashier, Landon Brashier, Alexander Parritt, William Paul Parritt, and Diana Parritt; and numerous friends. Graveside services will be held at Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 37030 LA 10, Franklinton, LA 70438, on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 10:00 am. May he rest in eternal peace.
