Verlee Gauthier Mayeux passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on December 18, 1937, in Plaucheville, LA, and was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Verlee is survived by her husband of 67 years, Fred Mayeux; son, Ricky and wife, Wanda; brother, Clifton Gauthier; and a host of other family members. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Latisha Mayeux; and parents, Fred and Myrtis Gauthier. Visitation will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogden Ln., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 11:30am until the time of the funeral service at 12:30pm.
