Susan Weber

Psalm 23:1-4. Susan Zimmer Weber, age 72, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Gonzales, peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, May 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Known to most as "Nana", she was a devout Catholic and an amazing woman with a heart of gold. You could usually find her shopping at Walmart or watching her favorite shows on TV. She attended St. John the Evangelist Church where she served on the Bereavement Committee and attended Adoration. She loved her family more than anything in the world and was the best Mother, Nana, Aunt, Sister, Friend, and soon to be Great Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Weber, and her parents, Neck and Vivian Zimmer. She is survived by her daughter Chantelle DeLeon and husband Frank; daughter Amy Stelly and husband David; son Michael "Nicky" Weber and wife Tiffany; grandchildren Madeline DeLeon (Braxten), Katelyn DeLeon, Derek DeLeon (Lexie), Mallory Addington Newman (Brennan), Landon Addington (Ashton), Cade Stelly, Blake Weber, Mason Weber; step grandchildren Josh, Madison, and Mackenzie Stelly; brother, Dale Zimmer and wife Ginger; sister in law Angie (Marie) Weber; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be, Daryl Gauthier, Poonie Weber, Brennan Newman, Derek DeLeon, Landon Addington and Braxten Babin. The honorary Pallbearer is Dale Zimmer.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to ALS Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital In Susan's name.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70815 on Tuesday, May 21st from 5 PM to 8 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at St. John the Evangelist Church, 15208 LA-73, Prairieville, LA 70769. Visitation at the church will begin at 9:30 AM and continue until the mass begins at 11 AM. Susan will be laid to rest following the mass at Greenoaks Funeral Home.
