Stanley J. Brohn Sr, a retired supervisor for ExxonMobil with 39+ years of service, died at his residence in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He was 88 and a native of Baton Rouge. Services will be Friday, April 12, 2024 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East on Florida Blvd. Visitation will begin at 5pm until the start of service at 7pm. A loving father and grandfather, Stanley is survived by his son, Stanley J. Brohn Jr. and wife Beatriz, and four grandsons, Stanley J. Brohn III, Ronnie J. Brohn, Jay S. Brohn Jr, and Ryan S. Brohn. He was preceded in death by his father, Junius S. Brohn and mother, Jessie P. Brohn, sons Jay S. Brohn Sr and Carl D. Brohn, and wife of 52 years, Peggy D. Brohn. Stanley loved animals. He enjoyed electronics. He was a longtime member and Secretary of the Radio and TV Technicians Licensing Board, a licensed Amateur Radio operator for over 67 years, and built some of the first microcomputer kits in the mid-70's. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Stanley was caring, generous and a good friend.
